A failed voucher purchase means your attempt to buy a voucher through Mama Money was not completed. This can happen for a few different reasons, but in most cases, it can be resolved quickly.
Check your transaction history:
Go to your transaction history on the Mama Money app. Check if the voucher purchase shows as failed, pending, or successful. If the money was deducted but you did not receive the voucher, do not attempt the purchase again—contact our support team instead with the following information ready:
- Your Mama Money registered phone number
- The date the purchase was attempted
- The amount of the voucher
- The type of voucher you were trying to purchase (e.g. airtime, data, 1voucher, DSTV, etc.)
What Happens Next? - Once our team receives your information, we will investigate the failed transaction
- You will be notified once the issue has been resolved
