A WiCode is a unique code that allows you or your recipient to collect cash at a till point. To check if your previous WiCode is still active, simply try creating a new one—the system will alert you if there is an existing WiCode waiting to be collected before you proceed.

How to create a new WiCode

Via WhatsApp (+27 60 091 5591):

1. Click here to start a chat.
2. Select 1 – Mama Money Card.
3. Select 1 – Send Money.
4. Select 2 – Send Money in South Africa.
5. Enter the amount and confirm.

Via the Mama Money App:

1. Log in to your Mama Money app.
2. Select "Mama Card".
3. Select "Cash Send".
4. Enter the amount and confirm.

Important Things to Remember

• Cancel old codes first: If the system shows an active WiCode, please cancel it before creating a new one to avoid multiple deductions.
• Check your balance: Ensure you have sufficient funds in your Mama Money account before creating a WiCode.
• One at a time: Do not create multiple WiCodes for the same transaction.
• Keep it safe: Treat your WiCode like cash—keep it private and only share it with the intended recipient.

Tip: You can always verify if a code has already been collected by attempting to generate a new one.
