Did your remittance order fail when paying with your Mama Money Card? Here is what happened and how to send your money successfully.
A failed remittance means your attempt to send money using your Mama Money Card as the payment method was not completed. This can happen for a few different reasons — but the good news is that your money is safe and has been returned to your Mama Money wallet. You can place a new remittance order right away using your Mama Money wallet as the payment method. Here is how:
Step 1 — Check your Mama Money wallet balance:
- Open the Mama Money app on your phone
- Check your wallet balance on the home screen
- Confirm that the funds from the failed remittance have been returned to your wallet
Step 2 — Create a new remittance order:
- Open the Mama Money app
- Select Send Money
- Choose your recipient and enter the amount you would like to send
Step 3 — Select your wallet as the payment method:
- When prompted to choose a payment method, select "Wallet"
- This will use the funds already in your Mama Money wallet to pay for the order
- Do not select Mama Money Card as the payment method again if it previously failed
Step 4 — Confirm your order:
- Review all the details carefully
- Confirm the transaction, and your money will be on its way
