When making an EFT to Mama Money, you must use your registered Mama Money phone number as the payment reference. This allows our system to automatically link the payment to your account.

If you used the wrong reference, don’t worry—our team can manually find your payment and fix this for you.

How to get help

Please provide the following details so we can locate your payment:

• Your registered Mama Money phone number
• The reason for the incorrect reference (e.g., missed a digit, used an old number, or entered a name)
• Proof of payment in PDF format (showing the amount, date, time, incorrect reference used, and our bank account details)

How to get your Proof of Payment (PDF)

• Via Banking App: Go to your transaction history, find the payment, and select the option to share or download the proof as a PDF.
• Via Internet Banking: Log in to your banking portal, locate the transaction in your history, and select download proof of payment as a PDF.
• Still unsure? Contact your bank directly and ask them to send you a PDF copy of your payment confirmation.
