Every country uses a different currency, and the exact amount your recipient receives will be determined by the exchange rate at the time of your transaction.

How to Convert a Currency to ZAR

If you would like to know how much your recipient will receive in their local currency or how much you need to send in ZAR, you can check this directly on the Mama Money app when creating an order:

• The app will automatically show you the ZAR amount you need to send and the equivalent amount your recipient will receive in their local currency
• The exchange rate is displayed clearly on the screen before you confirm the transaction
• This allows you to see exactly how much your recipient will receive before you commit to sending
